We have a home-grown timesheet system that all of our employees use to keep track of each hour worked for clients.
Timesheets are submitted on a weekly basis by each Monday at noon detailing the hours worked for the previous week to the half-hour increment.
The timesheet entry allows you to attach notes underneath each cell. Please include notes for each day worked with a general description of what you focused on - perhaps one sentence.
Each client has a different "bucket" to submit hours to. You should see Keyhole Software and your current client in your timesheet menu. Keyhole Software is for internal hours between projects.
Some clients also have their own timesheet systems in place, while some do not. Depending on the clients you're working with, there may be double time-keeping. It's important your numbers match up.
Yes, in some cases. We have an internal timesheet system that all of our consultants submit their previous weekly hours to each Monday. Sometimes you'll be also required to submit to a client's timesheet system in addition, but not always.
The Keyhole timesheet system is to ensure that your hours are correctly invoiced to the client (and that you're compensated fairly, in accordance with our policies), no matter what system the client has in place.
For example, some of our clients do not pay us for work until 60 days after we invoice them. It wouldn't be fair to have you have to wait that long. That's why we have our timesheet system, so we have an accurate understanding of what amount you need to be paid that next pay period, even if we have yet to be paid by your client.
Our timesheet system is at http://keyholekc.com/; your username is your firstinitiallastname (all lowercase). For example, Lauren Fournier is lfournier.
After your first day, you can get access initially & set your password. Visit: https://keyholekc.com/#passwordReset & enter your username. It will then send you an email to direct you how to set your password. If you have any trouble getting access, please let Lauren know!
